There are several holes you can just set the cruise control on and enjoy the beautiful views. As well as others that require you to make good quality golf shots in order to score well. There is a good blend of elements such as forced carries over water and rugged desert terrain, as well as beautiful lush fairways and greens. If you were trying to decide which of the two championship courses at Angel Park to play, the Mountain Course would be for the slightly more advanced player The Mountain course takes players up toward the Red Rock Mountains and through the desert terrain of the area that includes occasional forced carries and fairways guarded by bunkers and flowing grass. Early-morning and late evening tee times show off the beauty of a sunrise and sunset that reflect off the colorful Spring Mountains. The Mountain Course is located across the street from the clubhouse and is accessed via a cart tunnel that goes under the street. If you'd like lunch at the turn you will need to cross under to the clubhouse to get it. It's really not necessary since there is a snack bar located out on the course and the beverage cart stops by at least every three holes. The back nine is a bit more exciting than the front with more forced carries and elevation changes. The backside is quite a bit longer than the front, presenting ample opportunities for long hitters to strut their stuff. The Las Vegas Golf course - Palm Course is a challenge from the professional tees, and an interesting round from the rest of the tee boxes. Quick greens demand accurate putting, and encourage you to stay below the hole on all approaches. The course is well marked, with 150-yard stakes in the fairways and yardage markers on sprinkler heads. Red, white and blue flags denote pin placement (Front, center, back). Ice chests are standard on all carts. The back nine is quite a bit longer than the front, presenting ample opportunities for long hitters to strut their stuff. The Practice Facility at Angel Park offers an expansive driving range and two immaculate chipping and putting greens. The practice tee is lighted in the summer months for those warm Vegas evenings. Whether you come to refine your game, or you're just warming up before your round, stop by Angel Park to polish up on you golfing skills.
